what's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 146

Well it's relatively tidy, it shows some new goodies that just arrived from Jennie at The Artistic Stamper (24 hours after I ordered 'em, how cool is that!).  The bubble wrap at left is becasue I just finished a small session of packing up some more badges to send.
(If you want a WOYWW pin/badge, please ask me. Email at left.)
The clear drawers Kezzy, do indeed contain a few leftover die cut flower curls, but mostly foam pads and a handful of large buttons that I'm apparently never going to use.  I should have been finishing samples to take over to Shopkeeper Gal..but catching up seemed more important...genuinely 'clearing the desk'.  And now, a couple of hours later, it looks like a desk with some creativity going on, because I'm in a panic over not finishing the samples!
We'd love to see what's on your workdesk today.  Upload a pic to your blog....please keep your post relatively brief and then come back here and link - we can visit more desks that way, believe me, not everyone reads your post...gawping at the picture is too irresistible!  Oh,  and please put WOYWW in your post title.
If you visit a desk, leave a comment and you'll get a reciprocal visit.  With the list standing at nearly 200 desks, not everyone can visit everyone.  I did last week - took me till yesterday;  I can't do it each week but I do try!
Last thing - as you comment, leave your Link list number, it helps hugely.  AND...yes, your number may change, but only by a couple digits at most, at least finding your link is easier if there's a head start on where to look!

I know I've asked you to keep it brief and I'm doing the opposite, but you may also want to know that I'm the only one that can remove or alter links, so if you encounter a problem, email me and I'll try to sort it...be patient though, I'm not home all day on Wednesdays!

Your desk does look tidy Julia. The new stamps look good - and surely that's not a jar of olives I can near the back of your desk is it! (I do need new glasses - lol)

Thank you so much for that rocking WOYWW badge Julia - you'll have to stop by to see who's sporting it (it's not Legend - let's just say that Mister Naughty Pants would have quickly turned into Mister Grumpy Pants had I accidently poked him with the pin!)

Enjoy your stamps and happy WOYWW to you!

I linked Annette, so that's what took me so long to get back here. My ISP is SO slow and Blogger isn't helping.

Gosh, I should have read your comment about keeping a SHORT POST. I'm pretty wordy most days. I'll not do it from now on. I'll learn, I promise. However, I have a VERY long post this week! Sorry.

Is that a Diet Coke? It looks the exact same as the ones here in the States. I had NO idea things were exactly the same in other countries. That's why WOYWW is so great.

Julia, thanks for your comment on my blog! It's a sad addiction, this cardboard box hoarding business lol lol! It seems quite a number of others on here suffer too...

At least I'm being creative with my knitting at the moment! Hopefully I will have something worth photographing by next week!

I know I have been AWOL for a while now. But I finally am back! Are the pennant thingies stamps? And yes, new stuff in 24 hours is awesome. A whole lot of awesome. :)

Becky said...

oops...been gone too long, forgot to add my number... 162. Thanks!

Help!!! Julia, my link seems to have gone AWOL. Don't know what to do.
A few people have said it dropped out and when I just tried, it said I didn't exist (oh the pain). Did I tell you how much I hate technology. Is there anything I can do to make it live again.
Thanks,

My number is 168 and this is my first WOYWW! I'm oddly excited to show off my incredibly messy desk areas...how weird is that?! And I love seeing other people's, its more fun than watching a train wreck! Um, which probably isn't really fun, but you know, you can't look away...

P.S. Thanks for hostessing this linky party.

Thank you for my WOYWW badge, as yet no one has greeted me because of it! Nice to see a tidy desk, that is how I aim to be by next week!

Just a quick reply - honestly, the greatest asset for handling those micro beads is the little pink snap tray at the back of the desk. There might be a few floating around but most are caught in the tray and sent back to the bottle. Otherwise I might hit the bottle - it's the one thing I hate about glitter. It gets every-bloody-where.

Good Grief woman - I can see brown on your desk!! Is that paper or actual wood of your desk? Not sure I have seen it before!! LOL!!
Hugs and looking forward to next month - whatever arrangement is made!

conscious, life class, one hour, David is my muse, he is very similar in shape and feature to my Mr D, so I can adapt my images to Mr D like appearance with minimal extra work... since Mr D will no more pose than fly superman like to the moon,
rammel(local slang) = the detritus of personal possessions that accumulates over time and hoarding tendencies that really should not be given house space.

ah I could have written a whole blog in answer to those simple questions

and thank you for the badge, I will wear the silliness with pride.

Thanks for making it to my blog this week ... was lovely having you visit! My die did arrive that day as expected but the whole project is taking far longer than I thought it would ... never mind, keeps me out of trouble I guess. Love Debbie xXx

Following on from what you were saying on my blog - yes, dies have come on a long way since they first started. I think Spellbinders were the pioneers in the steel rule ones that have now grown beyond expectations.
It is always fascinating for me to go to the shows and see what has been produced and that's what makes me do them in the hotel room and buy others - too many - when will I ever stop buying?
Hugs, Neet xx

Hi Julia

How the devil are you. Fine and tidy desk there - but if you're not doing what you're supposed to be, then it will be tidy lol...

Oh dear. I'm sorry that I didn't do brief. I will next time, its just that I always have too much to say... shows that I should really be blogging more!!

Oh, and secondly, I had filled my name in on mr linky when it was around the 146 mark (or there abouts), well, I forgot to click enter clearly because I couldn't find my name, so I refreshed - still nothing. Clicked return just and found I'm now 171.. ive never been good at time keeping!

Hope you are well, and all is well with stuff business etc.

ooh - please could I have a badge thingy please. I'll send e-mail as well as, but thought I'd just mention here too...
